What is Corona virus?

It is a large family of viruses which causes illnesses in animal or humans.
In human it causes coronavirus disease COVID-19. COVID-19 is infectious disease first found in Wuhan, China in December 2019.

Main Symptoms:
1. Fever
2. Dry cough
3. Third ness

Other symptoms:
1. Nasal congestion,
2. Sore throat
3. Diarrhoea
4. Loss of taste or smell
5. Rash on skin
6. Headache
7. Pains.

Usually these symptoms are mild at beginning and increases gradually.

Some people become infected but have very little symptoms.

80% people recover from the disease.
1 out of 5 become seriously ill and develop difficulties in breathing.
People underlying medical problems like high BP, diabetes, lung problems are at high risk.

People of all ages who experience fever and dry cough associated with difficulty in breathing or chest pain or loss of speech should seek medical attention immediately.

How does COVID-19 spread?
It is a droplet infection which can spread through-
1. Primarily from person to person droplet from nose and mouth when a COVID-19 positive person coughs, sneezes and speaks.
2. By touching infected objects or surfaces, then touching their eyes, nose or mouth.

That's why it's important to wash your hands regularly with soap and water or clean it with sanitizer or hand rub.
