Sri Ganapathy Eye / Dental Hospital was founded by Dr. Ganapathi Rajesh & Dr. Mutharam in 2017. Dr. Ganapathi Rajesh is an Eye Surgeon and Senior Ophthalmologist in Theni Government Hospital. Dr.Ganapathi Rajesh did MS Ophthalmology at Regional Institute of ophthalmology attached with Madras medical college from 2003 to 2006, He has performed more than 100 keratoplasties during the study period. He has performed more than 15000 cataract surgeries including multi focal and Toric Intraocular lenses, more than 100's of anti-glaucoma surgeries, he has done surgeries for children which includes cataract & squint surgeries for newborn babies with fabulous results.
To his credits, he has presented 2 International and 2 National Papers. He is an examiner for Medical Students for more than 8 years. He is the District program manager for Theni district blindness control society for past 4 years. As district program manager, he started ROP screening and treatment in collaboration with Arvind eye hospital Madurai and started hospital corneal retrieval program at Theni Govt Medical college.
