The Story of Eight Decades...
History:
Dewan Bahadur Dr. V. Varghese, the Chief Physician of the Maharaja of Travancore, established a 6 bed clinic in Thiruvalla in 1935. In 1940 that the hospital was handed over to a group of Missionaries, Dr. R. S. Churchward, E. H Noel and G. L Fountain , who were dedicated to the cause of offering compassionate cure.
Vision:
To be a Leading Patient Friendly Hospital by offering Quality Patient care and Education based on Love and Compassion.
Mission:
Tiruvalla Medical Mission exists to share the compassion of Jesus Christ with sick, by offering affordable medical services and spiritual counsel, leading to their healing and wholeness.
Management:
TMM is managed by a board of Governors most of whom are professionals from various fields who volunteer their services. Yearly budget is prepared and approved by this board and the accounts are duly audited and certified by accredited accountants.
Infrastructure Development:
Times are changing. Technologies are improving and opportunities persuade to stay ahead in this challenging health care field. The hospital has constructed a brand new four storey building complex of 87000 sq. ft. commemorating its Platinum Jubilee. It is equipped with 8 moders operating theatres and and equipments. A highly sophisticated HMIS computer software is being implemented in order to have various information at the finger tips.

TMM can only grow with the partnership of Godโs people from around the world. As a prayer partner, a well wisher, you can sponsor a programme, or a project of TMM or encourage your church or friends to support TMM. Branch Hospitals:
There are two branch hospitals with 100 and 50 beds for TMM located at Vazhoor, Kottayam District and Mannamaruthy, Ranni in Pathanamthitta Disctrict Respectively.
Training Services:
TMM has also made major strides and is renowned for its nursing courses. TMM College of Nursing is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences,Kerala.The college offers both BSc and MSc courses in Nursing.
The Future:
TMM aims to become a referral hospital with its own Medical College, to become totally paperless hospital by 2018, to be self reliant in waste management, water harvesting and solar power. The Management hopes to attain Full NABH accreditation for the hospital by 2020.
