Halasana (Plow Pose), a full-body stretch that positions your body upside down with your feet over your head, offers interesting new perspectives. Practice it before settling into meditation, pranayama, Savasana (Co**se Pose), or before going to sleep.

Regular practice of Halasana stretches the thoracic, lumbar, and cervical regions of the spine, increasing circulation and suppleness. This posture can relieve backache, stretch the shoulders, and lengthen the spine. It can also reduce phlegm or mucus in the sinuses and respiratory system, and gradually lengthens and regulates the breath.

Carefully done, Plow Pose can release tension in the neck and throat. But prep and practice with care to avoid neck strain or injury.

*Combination of Yoga, Acrobatics and Thai massage*

AcroYoga is a type of yoga that combines traditional Hatha or Vinyasa Flow yoga with acrobatics. It may also include elements of healing arts. It originated in the late 1990s and has quickly become popular, with AcroYoga schools now all over the world.

AcroYoga is said to promote a wide range of physical and mental benefits for the yogi. Its defining feature is its use of gravity to promote both strengthening and stretching. It is generally considered a more vigorous and challenging yoga practice than other forms of physical yoga.

*How it works*

One partner (called the base) supports the other (the flyer) in a series of aerial postures. The necessary personnel is rounded out by a spotter, who makes sure everyone has good alignment so the flyer doesn't fall. The base most often lies flat on his or her back and supports most of the flyer's weight with his or her extended legs. The legs, when properly aligned with the ankles over the hips, can support a lot of weight, so that a small person is capable of basing a larger flyer. The base can support the flyer's hips with their feet for backbends or their shoulders for inversions, among many other possible combinations.
