The department of Audiology and speech language pathology and Neurodevelopmental sciences organised a two day workshop on Teaching and Learning Pedagogy on 9th and 10th January 2026 at Marigold Auditorium, NISH. 34  faculties specialised in Audiology and Speech language pathology, Occupation therapy, Psychology and Social work attended the program and was conducted by two eminent speakers Dr. Anand R and Dr. Gagan Bajaj.  Dr Anand R, Former Associate Dean, with over 25 years of experience, is currently a Professor in Pulmonary Medicine and is serving as the Convenor of the Medical Education Unit, KMC Mangalore. Dr Gagan Bajaj, Additional Professor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, KMC Mangalore is a certified fellow of the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). The workshop highlighted and discussed the active learning strategies, various assessments and evaluations in the context of communication disorders  that have to be incorporated in  academic classes as well as clinics.
