The Ānandamaya Kośa, as per yogic and Upanishadic philosophy, represents the deepest layer of our being. With ānanda meaning delight, joy, or profound happiness and kośa signifying a sheath, the Ānandamaya Kośa is often termed the "sheath of bliss."
Even the sheath of bliss is not the final truth.
Ānandamaya Kośa, though filled with peace and joy, is still a layer — subtle, comforting, and luminous, yet something that can be experienced. And whatever is experienced is not who we ultimately are. 🌿
In deep meditation, bliss may arise. Stillness may deepen. A sense of completeness may be felt. But the invitation here is to observe even that — without clinging, without identifying. When bliss is witnessed rather than possessed, the observer stands free.
