Dr. Roshan
Passed her Diploma and Masters in Ophthalmology from Dayanand Medical College, Panjab University. She has been actively practicing ophthalmology for the last 35 years. This vast experience has helped her to treat people over 4 generations. She had also undergone training in Kiryu, Japan affiliated with Tokyo University soon after her post-graduation. In 1999, she took training in PHACO surgeries for cataract and was one of the earliest PHACO surgeons of Kerala.
Started her own hospital in 2001. Besides quality work in the hospital, she also dedicated her time for the community work in association with Care and Share Society in India through free eye camps, she provided sight after cataract surgery and gave free glasses and free medicines to 60000 people over two decades.She was awarded the best social worker award in Kerala 2001 and woman of the year in 2005 by Ernakulam Woman’s Group. Life member of all India Ophthalmological Society, Kerala Society of Ophthalmology, and Cochin Ophthalmic club. Now she continues her free work since 2001 in her spare time.
