#beyondmedsrehab #deaddictionservices #rehabilitationcenter #beyondmeds #mentalhealthawareness #knowthechildren #depressionawareness #depressiononchildren Poornima Indrajith അസുഖം മനസ്സിലാക്കാതെ ചികിത്സ നിഷേധിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരാണ് വിഷാദരോഗികളിൽ ഏറെയും. വിഷാദം ഒരു രോഗമാണെന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിയാത്ത സാഹചര്യം പോലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു കുറച്ചുകാലം മുൻപ്. എന്നാൽ പറഞ്ഞുപറഞ്ഞ് വിഷാദം ഇന്ന് വളരെ സാധാരണമായി കണ്ടുവരുന്ന അസുഖങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടികയിലേക്ക് ചേക്കേറിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ശാരീരികരോഗങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള സ്വീകാര്യത ഇന്നും മനോരോഗങ്ങൾക്ക് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഈ അവസ്ഥ മാറ്റാൻ ഓരോരുത്തരും ശ്രമിക്കണം. രോഗം രോഗിയുടെ കുറ്റമല്ല എന്നും മനസ്സിലാക്കണം. രോഗത്തിന്റെ കാഠിന്യമനുസരിച്ചിരിക്കും രോഗിയുടെ വ്യക്തിപരവും ,തൊഴിൽപരവും സാമൂഹികവുമായ ജീവിതത്തെ എത്രത്തോളം അത് ബാധിച്ചുവെന്നത്. വൈകുന്തോറും ഈ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളെല്ലാം കൂടാനാണ് സാധ്യത. മാത്രമല്ല ആത്മഹത്യാ പ്രവണതയും ഉണ്ടാകാം. ചുരുക
