Sri Banwari Lal Verma Sir State in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and State in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution visited our DACRC Tinsukia along with , Himangshu Koushik sir IAS, Alok Rai sir PA to the HONOURABLE MINISTER
ADC Tinsukia Dr Mondira Baruah maam,
Miss Bombee Kumari maam Executive Magistrate and Planning Officer.
They looked into our centre and appreciated our hard work and motivated us to keep up the good work.

"An appreciation post"
On 27th April 2024 we completed 1 year of functioning. It was a great year of learning and evolving and a wish to work better for our country against addiction and to bring a better generation of youth free from substances.
It was a proud moment for us as the cake was cut by our first batch of inmates.
We are thankful to each one of them who has helped us during our journey to build a drug free nation. Looking forward for all the good wishes and support.

On 18th March 2024 an awareness program was held at District Jail Tinsukia by our staff in order to create awareness about how substance abuse has been prevailing among youth and how it has been impacting them and their families.
Also it was addded that how substance useage is bring a lot of new positive HIV / AIDS cases day by day and how we can keep us and our families safe.

Held a Follow up session on 29th February regarding how the ex inmates are coping with their addiction and maintaing their sober journey.
It was delight to see that they have been dealing and coping well.
Not all inmates were present on that day.
Few were missing.

Celebration of Prohibition week from 31st January to 5th Febuary 2024.
Various activities were done by the inmates presents during this one week program.
Activites inclues musical chair, drama and quize.
Also in order to keep their motivation level intact certificates were given to the winner.
