Free Health Camp Organised by Pinewood Hospital at Pinewood Residential School
Pinewood Hospital successfully organised a free health camp at Pinewood Residential School, Tinsukia, focusing on Dental, ENT and Blood Grouping services. The camp was held after lunch hours and received an enthusiastic response from students, with around 160 students registering for the initiative.
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished medical professionals who devoted their valuable time and expertise for the benefit of the students. The team included Dr. Anandita Das, Professor and Head of Department, Head and Neck Surgery, TMCH; Dr. Reshma Imran (Borkataky) , Assistant Professor, Pathology, AMCH; Dr. Bhavana Agarwal, Orthodontist from Moran; and Dr. Nabanita Aich, Dental Surgeon. Their tireless efforts ensured that students received quality check-ups, awareness, and guidance towards maintaining good health.
Such initiatives not only help in early detection of health issues but also spread awareness about preventive care among young learners. The Pinewood Hospital management and Dr Borkataky expressed gratitude to the doctors for their contribution and to the school for its support in making the camp a success.
In a significant announcement, Pinewood Hospital also shared that it will be starting a dedicated Dental Clinic from next month, further strengthening its commitment to ensuring accessible and specialized healthcare for the community.
Looking ahead, Pinewood Residential School's MD Sandeep Borkataky, has affirmed its commitment to student welfare by announcing that it would continue to organise more such medical events in the future for the overall well-being of its students.
