Kalpataru Diwas was reverently observed on 1st January 2026 at Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar. The celebration included a special arati, a bhog offering to Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, devotional bhajans, spiritual talks, meditation, and the distribution of Khichuri Prasad.

Around 100 devotees gathered at the Secondary Prayer Hall to participate in the solemn observance.

Kalpataru Diwas commemorates the sacred day in 1886 when Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna revealed his divine glory and bestowed spiritual illumination upon his devotees.

On 31st December 2025, braving the winter fog and dipping temperatures, monks and devotees of Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar, participated in the sacred Nagar Kirtan. The devotional procession began at Vivekananda Cottage and concluded at the Secondary Prayer Hall. En route, the kirtan troupe offered prayers at Swamiji’s statue and the Devabhumi temples.

Ramakrishna Mission School, Narottam Nagar, bade farewell to the outgoing students of Classes X and XII in a solemn and touching function held at Vivekananda Sabhagriha on 20 December 2025.

Revered Swami Jnanavratanandaji, Treasurer, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, and Revered Swami Achyuteshanandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar, addressed and blessed the outgoing boys, inspiring them to uphold values and ideals in life.

Heartfelt speeches by teachers and students, accompanied by melodious songs sung by the students, made the occasion truly memorable. Each student was presented with a group photograph of their batch and a book from Swami Vivekananda's works. The programme concluded with refreshments served to all.

Yogananda Bhavan Inaugurated at Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar

On 20 December 2025, Revered Swami Jnanavratananda ji Maharaj, Treasurer, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, inaugurated Yogananda Bhavan, a modern three-storey staff quarters building at Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar.

The ceremony included puja, havan, Vedic chanting, and devotional bhajans by students.

The building provides 1-BHK accommodation for 15 GDA staff members along with three bachelor dormitories.

The foundation stone was laid on 22 June 2024 by Revered Swami Satyeshananda ji Maharaj.

This initiative is part of the institution’s ongoing phase-wise upgradation of its five-decade-old infrastructure.
