Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is very common, and most people may not even know they have it because it often causes no symptoms. But when the infection persists for a long time, it can slowly lead to cervical cancer.
Some warning signs to watch for include:
β’ rregular or heavy bleeding
β’ Bleeding after in*******se
β’ Persistent white discharge
β’ Pelvic pain
Still, itβs important to remember β early cervical cancer may not show any noticeable symptoms at all.
The reassuring part? Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers.
With regular Pap smear screening and HPV vaccination, the risk can be greatly reduced.
If you are eligible for screening, please donβt postpone it.
Talk to your mother, sister, wife, or friends. Encourage them to get screened too.
A small step today can protect a life tomorrow.
