Founders Day and the centenary of the initial building were celebrated today at our college. The Jamalain Award was presented to Shri A. Srinivasan, Chancellor of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Perambalur, Tamil Nadu, in recognition of his significant contributions to higher education.

In recognition of his contributions to Tamil literature, the Government of India honored Sirpi Balasubramaniam, our distinguished alumnus who studied PUC during the inception of our college, with the Padma Shri award. To appreciate him, an award was presented to Kavingar Sirpi Balasubramaniam by our management.

The Dr. M.A. Aleem Award, instituted by Dr. M.A. Aleem for the best Islamic scientist, was presented to Prof. Dr. Akbarsha, a former professor of zoology at our college. He currently serves as an advisor to the Jamal Vaccine Research Centre.

Prof. T.M. Abdul Kader, a former professor of Tamil at Islamiah College, Vaniyambadi, delivered a special address. Dr. D.I. George Amalarethinam, the Principal, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the significance of the day. Our secretary, correspondent, and treasurer offered felicitations. Former principals, former vice principals, former professors, and former students graced the occasion with their presence.
