To All Radiation Therapy Technologist and to Radiation Oncologist a very humble request. when a Thermoplastics Cast is made in Head Or Head - Neck Shoulder take your time in Making them. Dont be in a hurry. Look at the Nose Chin , forhead and the Eye Brow area, those are the Bony land marks that you have to concentrate and make the cast like in the pic. Look at the Nose area make the area as in the pic. Do not open up the area. When a mask is done as in the pic you achive more control on the Patient movement and the patient will have the best comfort.
PATIENT CONMFORT IS PATIENT CONTROL
The Thermoplastic Cast made on the patient is only to immobilise the Patient.
