* Due to the ongoing Indigo crisis, we’re not able to physically attend the India International Science Festival, 2025. We’re registered and invited for 4 major events, I.e, NSOIM, Gurukula, Science Safari & Student S&T village.

* Walters Siddha Research Centre Congratulate M. Sangeetha, IInd BSMS Student of Govt. Siddha Medical College, Palayamkottai (under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Thomas M.Walter) for virtually presenting her work, “ Potential Antitubercular Plants of Siddha Medicine in the Management of Kayaroham: A Review” at AIMST International Conference on Siddha Medicine (AICSM 2025, ஏய்ம்ஸ்ட் பன்னாட்டு சித்த மருத்துவ மாநாடு 2025), Date: 22 – 23 November 2025, AIMST University, Malaysia.

* Best Wishes to all the eight III BSMS students of Government Siddha Medical College, Palayamkottai whose Research papers have been selected for Oral and Poster presentations at BVS 2025 at Sanskrit University jointly organised by vijnana bharati, at Tirupati, the knowledge capital of Andhra Pradesh from 26–29th of December, 2025. It also features contributions from ISRO, DST, DBT, CSIR, DRDO, IITs, NITs, IISERs, and Central Universities.

* Our Walters Siddha Research Centre is going to contribute to the Scientific proceedings of IISF 2025. The India International Science Festival (IISF) 2025 will be held from December 6–9, 2025, in Panchkula–Chandigarh. The event's theme is "Vigyan Se Samruddhi: For Aatmanirbhar Bharat" ("For self-reliant and prosperous India") and is a major platform to celebrate and showcase India's scientific and technological advancements. Organizers: Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), in collaboration with other key science ministries, including CSIR, DST, and DBT.

The 6th Bharatiya Vigyan Sammelan and expo is jointly organized by vijnana bharati, Government of Gujarat at Gandhinagar from 28 to 30 October, 2023.

Bharatiya Vigyan Sammelan (BVS) is a flagship program of Vijnana Bharati initiated as a vehicle to reach the masses in the pursuit of popularizing science and technology and to facilitate interactions within common people and scientific fraternity.

Additionally, it will also showcase the Indian achievements in science and technology by several organizations such as ISRO, PRL, IPR, DAE, DST, DBT, CSIR, DRDO, ICAR, ICMR, MNRE, MOES, and the like.

BVS is inviting Abstracts for Oral and Poster presentations. The theme includes Ayurveda and Yoga only. In a National event like this, AYUSH as a whole should be given as the theme. In addition, it proclaim that “Ayurveda is the Vedic system developed specifically for healing purposes. There is no other Vedic system of healing apart from Ayurveda”.

Happy to share that our Honorary Consultant Dr. Thomas M.Walter has been invited by THSTI ( Translational Health Science and Technology Institute), an Autonomous body under Department of Biotechnology, Government of India to participate as a Delegate in the “International Meet on Preparedness for Future Epidemics “ to be held at THSTI, Faridabad, Delhi NCR on 5th & 6th December 2022.

This invitation was extended based upon his expertise in formulating Herbal Vaccine candidate “Herbfluenza” for the European Union-India call for ‘Next Generation Influenza Vaccine’ during August 2018. He presented his herbal candidate “Herbfluenza “ at NIAB (National Institute for Animal Biotechnology), Hyderabad. Then a consortium was formed with 04 Institutes from Europe and 04 from India in which he was a member.

Thanks to THSTI & Department of Biotechnology, GOI. Hope our Siddha Medicine is well represented in this International Meeting.

Our Honorary Consultant Dr. Thomas M. Walter is going to deliver a lecture in the SERB Sponsored Three-day hands-on training workshop on In-Silico Natural Products Drug design, NPD-2022 at Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai on 15/10/2022.

His lecture, “In-Silico screening of selected Siddha medicines” will highlight the process of drug discovery which is revolutionised with the advent of genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics and efficient technologies like, combinatorial chemistry, High Throughput Screening (HTS), virtual screening, de novo design, in vitro, In-silico ADMET screening and structure-based drug design.

This presentation will discuss results obtained from GC-MS data of Nilavembu kudineer: Docking studies on the small molecules in Nilavembu kudineer based on glide score, glide energy, interactions of the small molecule fractions with the active site residues etc.

In this workshop, our Siddha Medicine is being represented by Dr. Thomas M.Walter and Dr Jeyavenkatesh Jaigopal.

‘Ayngaran’ movie team with it’s Hero Mr. G.V. Prakesh and Mr. Ponraj (Advisor of ex President Dr. APJ ABDUL KALAM & Actor Mr. Kamal Hassan), Aha OTT team organised a mega event today to identify Innovators of Tamilnadu at Hotel Ramada, Guindy.

Out of 100+ innovations, 33 were short listed and invited to present their innovations in front of the organising team and Media. Our innovations were selected and the formulation for Lung Cancer, “ Tri-Lucas” ( our patent publication) was highlighted.

Our Honorary Consultant Dr. Thomas M.Walter explained our formulation to the team which was very much appreciated.

Dr. Subash Chandran from GSMC, Palayamkottai presented his ‘Naadi’ related invention in this event.
