The law of minimum dose can be related to the proverb "Too much of anything is good for nothing" and also Arndt-Schultz law i.e., "For every substance, small doses stimulate, moderate doses inhibit, large doses kill”. Medicine should be given just enough to initiate a healing response within the body. Once triggered, the healing response continues - driven by the organism’s inborn need to maintain health and balance thereby producing cure naturally. The use of the minimum dose has the advantage that it does not produce the side effects that are so often seen in conventional medicine.

Homoeopathy is a science based on the principle of "SIMILIA SIMILIBUS CURENTUR" LIKES CURE LIKES, which means a medicine which is capable of producing disease like symptoms in an healthy person can be used to cure a diseased person with similar kind of symptoms .. and these medicines are dynamic medicines with lower material substance. Lower the material dose, higher it's curative power i.e., Less is more!
