Our goal is to empower you with the information you need, to have a safe and satisfying birth experience. Using our thoroughly designed internationally approved curriculum and by providing you with educational and emotional support, we hope to help you achieve your best birth. We offer classes allowing us to tailor our classes to meet your needs and giving you the opportunity to meet other woman/expectant mothers in a relaxed setting. We believe that smaller classes allow for a more relaxed learning environment which will help you feel comfortable asking questions and truly participating so that you can take much more away from our classes than just birth facts.

Hi Akka, Hope you’re doing well.

l attended your pre-pregnancy class in December 2024, and after that positive and encouraging session, we decided to plan for a baby during our Ooty trip. To our joy, I saw two pink lines in January!

I also want to mention that the doctor had prescribed tablets to improve my egg quality, which I believe really helped and brought us the greatest happiness of our lives.

Later, we also attended your labor management classes in July, which were incredibly helpful. I’m so happy to share that I delivered a baby boy on 17th September.

I was 2 cm dilated but didn’t go into natural labor for 4 days. On the night of the 17th around 12 AM, they induced pain. After 2 hours of pushing as the baby’s hand being near his head made it a bit difficult But I kept trusting my body and God throughout the process. Finally, the doctor was able to deliver the baby using a vacuum assistance at 2pm.

Funny thing is, everything was prepared for a C-section because the baby just wasn’t coming out!
Right now, my baby boy has jaundice, so we are closely monitoring him and hoping for a speedy recovery..

Hello ma’am,

I have attended ur early pregnancy and labor management classes. I am so happy to share that we are blessed with our first baby on 12th sept. It was a vaginal birth without epidural, with induced labor.

I want to thank u for all the info and knowledge that u shared with us. It helped me a lot inside labor room, i was able to control my breath and managed to bring my baby girl by pushing 4-5 times.

Also as u say husbands can be biggest emotional and physical support during labor, my husband was there with me throughout and it really gave me the strength to complete my delivery journey.

About the instructor Mrs. Anupama Kumar VijayAnand B.E, CCCE, CPFE,CCLE has her bachelor of engineering in computer science from Anna University. She worked as a software engineer in India and Germany for four years. Anupama’s own pregnancy made her explore the world of childbirth education and motivated her to create “Vriksham”. She is an internationally certified Childbirth Educator, internationally certified Pregnancy Fitness Educator and an internationally certified Lactation Educator. Anupama is a “Birth doula” trained in Singapore and also a central government certified Infant and Young child Feeding Counsellor. She takes credit to be the first CCCE, CPFE and birth doula in Tamil Nadu. She conducts regular Preconception and Antenatal(Pregnancy care) programs at “Vriksham”. She has trained 1300 odd pregnant moms over the last 6 years and assisted some of them during their labor and delivery. She also gives corporate presentation on the same in MNC’s and educational institutions. More importantly, she is a mother of a 8 year old, her personal experiences comes in handy while relating to participants circumstances.
