Tips for healthy eating
Eat a variety of foods: Eat a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and protein.

Eat more fiber: Eat foods like potatoes, bread, rice, or pasta.

Eat less unhealthy fat: Replace saturated fats with unsaturated fats, like those found in vegetable oils, avocados, and oily fish.

Eat less sugar: Limit added sugars and pre-packaged snacks.
Eat less salt: Cut back on sodium.

Drink plenty of fluids: Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water a day.

Cook healthy: Steam or boil instead of frying, and use oils rich in polyunsaturated fats.

Eat lean meats: Choose lean cuts of meat, or trim visible fat.

Eat fresh produce: Fresh berries are lower in sugar and calories than dried berries.

Eat in moderation: Eat only as much food as your body needs, and feel satisfied at the end of a meal.
