A Short film festival dedicated to all the movie enthusiasts out there aiming to provide a stepping stone for the budding movie makers and a fun, entertaining and a memorable experience. With cash prizes worth over Rs. 50,000 for the best entries, interactive sessions with the judges, screening of movie premieres and post screening discussions, ICCON is guar

anteed to be a package of quality entertainment and a premise for the budding film makers to share their talent to the world! Last Date for the submission of entries has been extended to October 21st due to popular demand. The submissions will be undergo a preliminary qualifying round and of which the best 15 entries will be selected and will be screened during the event. From these 15 entries, the award winners are selected. The screenings, talks, premiers and the award ceremony are scheduled to be held on

A winner for Best feature film for Adaminte Makan Abu at the prestigious 58th National Film Awards, Salim Ahamed is no stranger to critical acclaim. A two time National award winner and a two time Kerala state film award winner, he is renowned for basing his movies on his own scripts. His most decorated film, Adaminte Makan Abu was India’s official entry for Best Foreign Feature Film at the 84th Academy Awards. His other well known works include Pathemari, Kunjananthante Kada and The Oscar goes to.

A three time winner of the prestigious Kerala state film awards,most recently at the 52nd iteration for Churuli, Renganaath Ravee is an eminent name among film circles all over the country. His astonishing work as a sound designer and sound editor spans across over a 100 feature films, short films, documentaries and installations in 10 different languages. He is a critically acclaimed sound designer and his notable films include Ee.Ma.Yau, Churuli, Ennu Ninte Moideen, Amen, Shutter, Bang Bang, Dhoom 3, Angamaly diaries and many more. His poetry installation earned him a place in the Limca book of records in 2015. We are truly honored to have this phenomenal talent amongst the jury at ICCON 22

22 Female Kottayam, Idukki Gold, Mayanadhi, Maheshinte Prathikaram, Kumbalangi nights and the recent Joji, all left strong impressions in Malayali minds. Syam Pushkaran is a name that resonates in all these beautifully memorable scripts. Renowned for his thought-provoking scripts about very socially relevant topics, he began his career by penning the script for Salt n' Pepper which turned out a runaway success. Since then there has been no turning back. At the 64th National Awards in 2016, he won the Best screenplay for Maheshinte Prathikaram. The winner of Best screenplay (Adaptation) at the 52nd Kerala state film awards, We At ICCON 2022, are honoured to have Syam Pushkaran as a part of our judging panel.
