🔥 Heat Stroke is NOT just “garmi lagna” — it’s a medical emergency.

As a doctor, I’m seeing more cases every summer that could have been prevented. Here’s what you must know 👇

☀️ Who is at risk?
Children, elderly, outdoor workers, and anyone dehydrated

🚨 Warning signs:
• High body temperature (>40°C)
• Confusion / irritability
• No sweating despite heat
• Vomiting or dizziness
• Rapid pulse

❗ What to do immediately:
• Shift to a cool place
• Start cooling (wet cloth, fan, AC)
• Give fluids only if conscious
• Seek medical help urgently

💧 Prevention tips:
• Stay hydrated (don’t wait for thirst)
• Avoid peak sun (12–4 PM)
• Wear light, loose cotton clothes
• Never leave kids in parked vehicles

👉 Heat stroke can be fatal, but it is 100% preventable with awareness.
