Do u have dry eyes!

A middle aged male patient presented to us with the complaint of sudden loss of vision in his right eye since 2 days following penetrating trauma while hammering. A diagnosis of retained intraocular metallic foreign body with vitreous hemorrhage was made along with traumatic cataract and self sealed corneal perforation. Vitreo- retina surgery was performed with removal of damaged lens and successful removal of metallic foreign body(3-4mm size) from retina. Patient is doing fine with attached retina.
The lesson is always use protective glasses to avoid such eye injuries
