Happy to share the outcome of a Bilateral Toric (Astigmatism correcting) IOL implantation done last week at Goyal Hospital, Hiran Magri, Udaipur. The patient had Bilateral Thick posterior Subcapsular cataract with a pre-existing corneal astigmatism of 1.93 D in the Right eye and 2.19 D in the Left eye. He was advised to undergo Toric IOL implantation during cataract surgery to correct cylindrical power so as to gain good distance vision without spectacles. The patient is doing well after surgery with distance vision in Both eyes at 6/6' without any glasses.

Case operated last week -
Topical Phaco Cataract Surgery in NS3 with PSC2 (Pre-op vision 6/60) done with Trifocal IOL implantation.
Patient has UCVA 6/6' N6 one week post op with good IOL centration.

Left eye Grade 2 Progressive Pterygium operated last week. Pterygium excision and Corneal polishing with Conjunctival Autografting was performed without any stitches.
Post-operatively Graft was well-placed with minimal corneal scarring and the result was a Happy & Satisfied patient. 🙂
