As an eye specialist at Jai Drishti Eye Hospital in Udaipur, I want to express the deep emotions I experienced while performing cataract surgery on my father-in-law. It was a profoundly personal and professional moment for me.

Operating on a family member is a unique blend of responsibility and love. While I was confident in my skills and the team at our hospital, the emotional weight of having a loved one's vision in my hands was undeniable. Every step of the procedure, I felt a mix of anxiety and determination to ensure the best possible outcome.

Witnessing the joy in my father-in-law's eyes as his vision gradually improved after surgery was incredibly rewarding. It reminded me why I chose this profession in the first place – to make a meaningful impact on people's lives, especially those dear to me.

I'm grateful for the trust my family placed in me and for the excellent team at Jai Drishti Eye Hospital. This experience reaffirmed the importance of compassionate care and the privilege of being able to restore sight and improve the quality of life for our patients.

मोतियाबिंद - आँख के लेंस में होने वाली क्लाउडिंग है। जिससे लेंस अपारदर्शी होने लगता है। और इस वजह से रोशनी आँख के पर्दे तक ठीक से नहीं पहुँच पाती, और दृष्टि धुंधली होने लगती है। जैसे-जैसे उम्र बढ़ती है यह क्लाउडिंग घनी होने लगती है। मोतियाबिंद का एक मात्र उपचार ऑपरेशन है। और यह ओपेरेशन सही समय पर करवाना आवश्यक है। अगर आपकी उम्र 50 वर्ष या अधिक है और दृष्टि कमजोर है तो आप अतिशीघ्र नेत्र रोग विशेषज्ञ से संपर्क करें।
