Jagran Jan Vikas Samiti (JJVS) is a non-governmental organization working for rural and tribal population across Udaipur district. The journey is still on....

Our focus areas have been MHM, livelihood, traditional medicine, GIS based micro-planning and Internship programmes. Based in Udaipur, Rajasthan (India), JJVS was founded in 1985 and has earned broad community recognition as a center of social development .JJVS acts as a catalyst for communities to create sustainable livelihoods and improve their health. Our interventions in menstrual health, traditional system of treatment, livelihood generation, macro-level GIS based planning and Volunteer program, strives to empower the community. JJVS works with marginalized population in rural pockets and self-determination of tribal population. In the Aaditherapy project from 2016-2019 JJVS had organized 135 health camps treating 5713 patients across Udaipur. JJVS has reached 11,336 women and adolescents in Kurabad block of Udaipur through its Female Health programme between 2018-2020. As part of our COVID relief we have supported 12636 HH in Salumber, Sarada and Kurabar block of Udaipur in 2021-2022. JJVS is taking baby steps with the same determination of making a positive change in the lives of people as it did 36 years back.

36 years and a long way to go..............
Jagran Jan Vikas samiti officially turns 36 today. Looking back on this journey of thirty six years, we feel thrilled and overwhelmed with joy. This journey of 36 years was no less than a roller coaster ride- full of ups and downs, but eventually, through innovation, trust, and excellence we found our path to success.
Celebrating 36 years of JJVS , we highly appreciate all our employees, volunteers, students, and partners – people who made our organization's success possible.
