Recently Performed High Risk Gall Bladder Surgery @ 3D Laparoscopy!

Technology is giving extra edge to Surgeons to perform better and with Minimal Complications!

Laparoscopy has become the standard of care over last few decades. Even the treatment protocol after Surgery has changed drastically. 99.9% of Gall bladder operations can be done laparoscopically, no matter how bad the gall bladder condition is ( i.e. pus, gangrene, perforation etc). Also, most of the patients can be discharged from hospital within 24hrs of operation.








LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY

दूरबीन से ऑपरेशन आज के युग में “Gold Standard” हो चुका है, Gold Standard से मेरा कहना है की कुछ operations के लिए दूरबीन द्वारा आपरेशन ही पहला विकल्प होना चाहिए!
और इसी श्रेणी में सबसे ऊपर ऑपरेशन Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy आता है!

Gall Bladder की कैसी भी स्तिथि हो जैसे की Acute अथवा chronic infection, pyocele, mucocele,gangrene,perforation एवं initial स्टेज का गॉल ब्लैडर कैन्सर का सुरक्षित एवं प्रशिक्षित सर्जन के हाथों से 99% gall bladder operation दूरबीन से हो जाता है!

इस तरह के दूरबीन से ऑपरेशन का फ़ायदा ये होता है मरीज़ को कम से कम दर्द होता है, recovery fast हो जाती है, और टाँको में पस पड़ने का ख़तरा कम से कम होता है, और कुछ समय बाद ऑपरेशन का निशान शरीर पर नहीं के बराबर दिखता है!!
वही इस ऑपरेशन को अगर पारम्परिक तरीक़े से किया जाए तो रिकवर होने में समय ज़्यादा लग सकता है साथ ही हॉस्पिटल में भी ज़्यादा समय रहना पड़ता है.

डॉक्टर सपन जैन की सलाह है की जिन भी लोगों को पित्ताशय में पथरियाँ है, तो उन्हें जल्द ही इसका ऑपरेशन करवाना चाहिए, क्योंकि लम्बे समय से पित्त की थैली में पथरियाँ पड़ी रहने के कारण कैन्सर का जोखिम हो सकता है, एवं कभी कभी पथरियाँ पित्त की थैली से खिसक कर लिवर की नली में फँस जाती है, जिससे सर्जिकल जॉंडिस एवं पैंक्रीयटायटिस हो सकता है।

Performed 832 cases in 2023!

And I have completed my Surgical Career of 23 years which I started with KEM Hospital Bombay in the year 2000 under the leadership of Renowned Laparoscopic Surgeon Dr. Abhay Dalvi Sir! 👨‍🏫

In this year performed Bariatric,Upper GI cases including Lap Hiatus & escalated my self to Lap benign and Onco Oesophageal surgeries!!

Minimal Invasive Thoracoscopic cases., Pancreaticojejunostomies, LASER/VAAFT-Anorectal Surgeries,Thyroid Surgeries! Mid night Emergencies with Laparotomies!

In 2023 Performed 158 Laparoscopic Gall bladder Surgeries these year with
with World 🌍 Record on performing Emergency Laparoscopic Gallbladder Surgery on 113 yrs eldest lady known on the earth!

Did good numbers of Laparoscopic Hernias & aiming for more complex Abdominal Wall Repair Procedures in 2024.
I had an 3 postoperative mortality, one was unexpected and two patients were extremely high risk Medically & surgically.
These year I had an opportunity to guide one international surgical trainee from Baghdad, and currently I am having Fellow in Surgery;Dr Rupali who is learning basics of laparoscopic surgery.

Conducted around 6 Training Programs for Upcoming Laparoscopic Surgeons, and shared my experience of Laparoscopic Surgeries gathered in last 23 yrs!

We tried not to waste our surgical movements on OT table so we can minimise operative time and these comes when you have team around you who understands your expressions!🧐🤨
