Being digital-friendly is extremely important in today’s world. And our Orthopedic surgeon, Dr Manish Agrawal has been a highly digital friendly doctor. He has been using electronic prescription software for past 11 years now!! All the prescriptions he gives to his patients are in printed form with the instructions written very clearly in Hindi as well as English. All the medicines are written as brand names with their generic salt in a bracket.

Benefits of an e-prescription:-
- minimal chances of any mistake by pharmacist in giving medicine.
- Patient can clearly understand the dosing, so less chances of any mistake in doses.
- Records of patients are maintained with the doctor forever in a computer. So, even if a patient somehow loses the file, old records can be retrieved.
- As generic salt name of medicines are also written, a patient can always buy a cheaper or generic alternative of the medicine prescribed.
- Most of the doctors see so many patients, due to which they start writing in a very bad handwriting, which sometimes is not legible. An E-prescription solves this problem.
