Today, a “Fruit and Vegetable Supermarket Activity”🍇🍅🌶️🥕🥔was conducted at school to provide students with practical learning experiences. The main objective of this activity was to teach children about the concept of money exchange, the importance of money, and how real-life purchasing works in a market.
During the activity, students were guided on how to interact with vendors, how to ask for items, and how to make payments confidently. They also learned about different units of measurement, such as kilograms and dozens, and how various items are sold in different quantities.
This hands-on experience helped students understand how to communicate effectively with vendors and make independent buying decisions. It also focused on building their confidence so that when they visit markets with their parents, they can actively participate and handle small transactions on their own.
Overall, the activity was engaging, educational, and highly beneficial in developing both practical life skills and confidence among students.
