๐ฃ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐น๐๐ฏ (๐ฃ๐๐), Centre for Public Health Pharmacy, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), observed ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ through a meaningful ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐๐๐ก ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ conducted on 25th September 2025.
As part of the campaign, PLC volunteers visited pharmacies across Manipal, Udupi, Parkala, Indrali, Santhekatte, and Ambagilu, engaging with community pharmacists to emphasize the importance of patient counselling during medication dispensing. The outreach focused on how effective pharmacistโpatient communication can improve treatment adherence, medication safety, and overall community health. Informative pamphlets on good dispensing practices were distributed to promote awareness and encourage best practices in pharmacy care.
The initiative concluded with enthusiastic participation and valuable discussions, reinforcing the crucial role of pharmacists as accessible healthcare professionals in the community.
