A refreshing day out with our residents at on 27th Feb 🌴✨

Our residents from the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Centre enjoyed a joyful outing filled with boat rides, music, games, laughter, and togetherness.
Moments like these remind us how meaningful and recreation are in the recovery journey.

The outing was made special by the enthusiastic participation of the Hombelaku team - junior residents, MPhil trainees, PGs from OT, and dedicated volunteers - who came together to create memorable experiences for everyone.

Grateful for the smiles, shared songs, and beautiful memories made along the way. 💛

World Schizophrenia Awareness Day – 24th May! 🗣️

Observed each year on 24th May, World Schizophrenia Awareness Day aims to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and honour the resilience of individuals living with schizophrenia.

As part of the observance, products made by the residents of Hombelaku Psychiatric Rehabilitation Centre will be exhibited and available for sale. Hombelaku provides comprehensive rehabilitation for individuals with severe mental illnesses, including schizophrenia.
