Leishiphung Christian Hospital Leishiphung Christian Hospital (LCH) is a non profit organization registered under the “Indian Societies Registration Act 1860”.

The hospital first began its service on May 2001 and works amongst tribal community in Ukhrul District, Manipur, India. The hospital was build through the initiative of Dr and Mrs. Luithuk and the contribution of well wishers from around the world. The hospital was build to serve the community by providing curative services 24×7. Our Mission and Vision

Our Vision: “Transformation through Caring”


Our Mission: Leishiphung Christian Hospital (LCH) is a not – for – profit hospital that serves to transform villages/communities through caring with primary focus on the poor and marginalized. The Purpose of this hospital is:

1. To Help individuals, families and villages assume responsibilities for their own health and welfare by developing self reliance and leadership.
2. To develop programs of preventative care such as immunization, sanitation and nutrition in the area.
3. To encourage cooperation with the church and other agencies in developing comprehensive education, rehabilitation and treatment programs for HIV/AIDS, drug addiction, smoking and alcoholism.
4. To provide in – patient and out – patient services, both routine and emergency, for medicine, surgery, paediatrics and maternity – obstetrics. Hospital Board

The Hospital has two of boards. One in USA and the other based locally at LCH, Ukhrul. The Board in USA takes decision that needs strategic decision. The Board in Ukhrul takes decisions that are locally concerned.
