I think I am ancient. The options those days were so little . It was easy to choose and move on. With the modern times and bell lot of options we gave no idea what we really want and what we end up with.
Hungry at home would be a simple home made cuisine and hungry ousude would be south indian cuisine , wada pav or may be punjabi cuisine at times.

Now we have millions of options some which we have never heard of and yet with taste with the inquisitive .ind and end up putting on weigth.
And then we try to shift to the old wats which some how we have forgotten.

In the fast times that we live in , stress is freely available in abundance every where. Stress could be anything, work related or finance related or may be some psychological issue. Stress is out there to stay.
I agree that there is not much we can do about stress. The least we can do is show sympathy and empathy towards the patients.
Every one is busy with their own plan for the day but we as doctors can and should help . We can help by listening. Talking helps to reduce the stress . Be the empathetic doctor and help relieve them of stress.
Just by listening you can reduce the instances of strokes and severe nervous breakdowns in many patients.
We at mercy clinic may be too busy to answer your messages on whats app but we have an eternity to hear the patient speak

"Mom!I am hungry"these words ring gold in mom's ears . But not any more.
The advent of Dominoes and McDonalds have changed the meaning of hunger.
Before McDonalds and Dominoes, mom's food was god sent.Times have changed and so has the taste .
The so called tastiest food is just processed food in preservatives which are very bad for health.
These food directly affects the liver which is the powerhouse of our body ot lu of warer othus causing diseases like non alcohoic fatty liver disease and also obesit . in teenagers as well.
A simple mantra for life is
Drink lots of water and water only

Go for home made food
Keep a watch on your carbs
Include lot of proteins in your diet
Avoid oily food
Avoid sugars and hidden sugars in your food
And last but the most important of these rules is Excercise regularly
