Yoga for Women-
Menopause & Beyond.
Sept to Dec 2025 & Jan 2026 onwards.

Over the last 20 years we have worked with so many women (busy home makers, corporate workers, single moms & more), struggling daily with these multiple common conditions, that are treated in isolation and not realizing that they are all related to menopause.

Dealing with close family members/ office managers/ friends who at most times, think youre "imagining" all this- the joint pains, frozen shoulder, knee pains, other shifting pains, incontinence, UTIs, constipation, bloating, other digestive issues,sleep disruptions, emotional upheavals, anxiety, lack of worthiness & depressive feelings.
And at times even most docs, just giving meds for isolated issues and not viewing the these disruptions as corelated to menopause.
This can be immensely overwhelming & painful.

Smita & I, who have both been through & overcome these stages ourselves, really want to be able to support a wider audience of women, for them to know that life during peri menopause & menopause can be really different & comfortable too.

Our vision is help women feel stronger, brighter, energetic & own this stage of life, like a badass.

The Program:
Yoga for Women- Menopause & Beyond.

This is a group program designed to ease the transitions of pre-menopause and menopause.
(Suitable for women, ages 35 to 60, with no serious health issues).

Each 60 minute session blends appropriately:
breath oriented, mindful yet strength enhancing movements (using the tools of vinyasa krama), vedic chants, invocations, visualisation & deep relaxation.

To address:
Hormonal balance
Sleep quality
Brain fog and mood swings
Bone, joint & muscle health
Digestive wellness

The Facilitators:
Dia & Smita will create a safe, restorative space to nurture body and mind through this important life stage- as a powerful beginning — a time of wisdom, strength, and transformation.

They will also gently support all participants in building a home/personal practice, review current habits & patterns that impact health & well being.

Nefertiti Chakrabarti /Titli and her friend Shalini Sekhar are doing this very interesting workshop in Shantiniketan Aaro Akash Eco Resort, Shantiniketan, West Bengal. , the non-resort __ an extremely beautiful space owned and run by Suchandra Hajra and her husband Uday Hajra and their son Anok Hajra .
Join them on the 7th & 8th of October in Shantiniketan, West Bengal, for a weekend of rest and exploration.
The intention of this workshop/retreat is to deepen the journey of embodiment through voice and movement practices. This space is for everyone, whether you are an experienced mover or voice-user, or have never dabbled in anything like this before.

What to expect:
- body awareness explorations in stillness and movement
- visiting states of deep listening
- bodywork to release constrictions
- intuitive sound-making
- partner and group explorations to play and feel connected in a safe way
- gentle somatic explorations with the singing voice

Here's your abhyanga reminder for the day.

While the texts suggest doing an Abhyanga daily, (which is why it falls into the
DINA-charya recommendations, on a practical basis many of us may not have the time to do this. So we split up the abhyanga into mini abhyanga, pada abhyanga and full abhyanga. Mini to be done 2-3 times a week, Pada - 4-5 times a week at night, and a FULL abhyanga atleast once a week, twice is better.

Come Friday, we all have a little more time to breathe and focus on ourselves. So here's a reminder from us to you.

Please do atleast ONE Full Abhyanga between tomorrow until Sunday. This process should take you about 15-20 minutes for the Abhyanga, 10 minutes for soaking and 10 minutes for a bath.

This 35-40 minutes that you are going to spend on your body will have the following effects on you:

☘ Reset all 3 Doshas
☘ Improve Digestion
☘ Draw out Vata Dosha imbalances from within
☘ Improve Joint and Bone health
☘ Reduce stress and anxiety
☘ Improve overall wellness
