Dr Shah was part of NCD Pannel Discussion on very Important topic that is Pediatric Obesity.

Dr shah highited In india we usually face issues of infections and communicable diseases but
With advent of vaccines and changing life style there is paradigm shift ,now the non communicable diseases are on rise
Common is obesity(especially Fatty Liver in Children)and Nutrition.

So simple message for parents and Youngsters (so-called Gen Z)

Avoid JUNCS

J - Junk foods (typically high in fat, salt, or sugar with few nutrients)
U - Ultra-processed foods
N - Nutritionally inappropriate foods
C - Caffeinated/coloured/carbonated foods/beverages)

Almost in All Newspaper ,Media ,social networks etc for doing an exceptional work towards our patient & at same time we are having an immense feeling of satisfaction that Dr Aashay have been able to procure full course of Inj pozelimab injections (cost worth 80 to 90 lakhs INR ) free of cost for a child who has been diagnosed to have CHAPLE SYNDROME , a ultra rare disorder caused by deficiency of CD 55 leading to hyperactive complement system with protein losing enteropathy.

● So What Is Achalasia Cardia?●

Achalasia Cardia is a rare disorder that makes it difficult for food and liquid to pass from the swallowing tube connecting your mouth and stomach (esophagus) into your stomach.
Achalasia Cardia occurs when nerves in the esophagus become damaged. As a result, the esophagus becomes paralyzed and dilated over time and eventually loses the ability to squeeze food down into the stomach. Food then collects in the esophagus, sometimes fermenting and washing back up into the mouth, which can taste bitter. Some people mistake this for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
