We see it too often: 17-year-old privileged minor - drunk, kills 2 at 2AM, Bail in 15 hrs.

*Parental EQ Neglect: Surely it was not the first time he took the car for a spin or drank alcohol.
* Systemic EQ failure: Bail over justice. Zero accountability.
* Community EQ lapse: Clubs serving alcohol to minors. Zero responsibility.
* School/Education EQ Absence: Did we ever teach impulse control or empathy?

Cue-dependent forgetting

When you can't remember something unless you have the right hints or clues that were there when you learned it.

You're studying for a test and you've learned a lot of new words. While studying, you were listening to a particular song. When the test day comes, you find it hard to remember some of the words you learned. But then, if you listen to the same song again, suddenly you remember those words clearly. In this case, the song is a cue that helps you recall the words you learned, showing how cue-dependent forgetting works.
