Upon an order of 595 pieces of jewellery that was to be delivered to the Kanchi Mutt through a well wisher and the efforts of Mrs. Vaijayanthi a mother of Claps, our special ones started making them and .....

When it touched the hands of Kanchi Acharya it was immense satisfaction for the special ones and those who were behind this happening.

A young monkey came into CLAPS complex a month ago and has decided to make CLAPS its home. This picture taken today by a parent is a typical evening routine of enjoying nature.

Visiting every other home in Claps and gobbling the fruits, nuts, eatables creating a sensation everyday.

A Claps thought wonders why is this monkey here, ....

- is it to say you people have created a wonderful place for the special ones.

- is there a past life unfulfilled wish

Or is it a satirical gesture of nature to say, guys stop monkeying.... :-)

And so on.

Our gratitude goes to Dr. Ambika Kameshwar of RASA for sending a group of beautiful people to conduct a Theatre Arts for Holistic Development (TAHD) session at CLAPS. TAHD is an integrated approach that uses music, movement, drama, storytelling, and art to support the holistic growth of individuals with differing abilities.

In a 2 hour session the magic of connecting with our special ones, rehearsing 2 stories with 2 seperate team of our boys and girls, delivering a drama with involvement was achieved.

Like clock work the team went into action without leaving even a moment to pass by without action. Hatsoff to the leadership of Dr. Ambika. CLAPS feels blessed by their presence.
