HAPPY BHEESHMA EKADASHI 💐

There are two words in the word Ekadashi .
Eka (1) means one in sanskrit and Dasha (10) means ten .

It means one who is bestowed with 10 plus one qualities .

We have total 11 indriyas in our body with which we function.

Now... you may ask what is indriya ?

Indra is rhe root word of indriya ... that means one which is of Indra ..

There are 5 gyan indriyas and 5 karma indriyas .



Transforming actions of ten senses and mind from worldly objects to God is the true Ekadashi.

Ekadashi means we should control our 10 senses & 1 mind.

One must not let low vibrational thoughts regarding lust, anger avarice, etc. enter in mind.

The ten indriyas includes the 5 karma indriyas (mouth, hands, feet, a**s and ge***al organs) and 5 gnan indriyas (eyes, ears, nose, skin and tongue).

The 10 indriyas along with the mind are collectively known as “Ekadash indriyas”.)

In general daily life we are controlled by all indriyas ....

Today is the day where we try to control all these indriyas by monitoring our food intake , our speech.... etc

Amavasya ,the no moon period is symbolic to the black void, akin to cycle of birthing and creation !!

Today is Mauni Amavasya,it is the last amavasya before shivratri.

During winter solstice the nature , the self, goes inside into hibernation and this amavasya is the second one after the solstice before shivratri.

For knowing your self , the inner mechanism of your functioning, the mind body spirit ..... Silence is the core !!

It is a scientific fact that existence is a reverberation of energy. All vibrations in human experience translate into sound.
Every form in the creation has a corresponding sound.

Today is the day to delve into yourself ...

* practice deep silence .

* moderately use all your senses ( vision, touch taste..)

* deep breath every hourly so you stay grounded

* meditate on the event , object on which you want clarity as many times for short durations !

Vaikuntha Ekadashi is celebrated on the eleventh day of the waxing lunar phase (Shukla Paksha) in January every year.

2. This period coincides with the ascending solar phase (Uttaryanam).

3. As a result, the spiritual energy (Ojas-Tejas) is optimum inside and outside the body of the fasting spiritual person.

4. It is a conducive period for contemplative meditation.

Light and shadow are two important polarities within ourself !! Call them masculine feminine or positive and negative( not in the literal sense).

As a human being we are conditioned to only accept the light part of yourself .
