The agenda includes two high-level panels:
• Multisectoral action to address determinants of NCDs and mental health
• Strengthening health systems and financing for people living with NCDs

We are proud to contribute to this global dialogue and reaffirm our commitment to advancing equitable, people-centered health systems through civil society, youth, and lived experience leadership.

📚A new report documents a wide range of commercial products, activities & market systems that influence people choices & consequently the health conditions of SE Asia 👉https://iris.who.int/handle/10665/380673

💡It is an extremely important publication considering that commercial-driven NCDs are most prominent in the SEA region.

📢The report calls on Member States in the region to work together using a whole of government approach to regulate and mitigate some of the commercial products and marketing systems, and to strengthen consumer protections and human rights to health and wellbeing for the people.

As part of the ICMR-funded study, a series of training sessions were conducted to strengthen oral health promotion efforts.
The first session, organized by Hriday at Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, Delhi, was led by senior dentists and it trained Medical Officers (MOs) and Public Health Nursing Officers (PHNOs) on oral health and brushing techniques.

Building on this, Training of Master Trainer sessions were conducted :
📍 Feb 13, 2025 – SKV Kanjhawala
📍 Feb 14, 2025 – Lala Hansraj Polyclinic, Rohini

These sessions aimed to equip teachers with the knowledge and skills to oversee school-based toothbrushing sessions and oral health education activities. They were led by PHNOs and MOs. By empowering educators and healthcare professionals, we move one step closer to improving oral health behaviors among school children. Together, let’s build a healthier future!

As a part of the ICMR funded National Health Research Priority study ANANT MUSKAAN, a training session was held at Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, Delhi, organised by Hriday.

The session was led by Senior Dentist Dr. S.K. Malhotra, along with two esteemed MCD dentists, Dr. Divya and Dr. Sonam, who trained medical officers and PHNOs on the importance of oral health and proper brushing techniques.

This initiative aims to empower healthcare professionals with the knowledge to promote better oral hygiene and improve community health outcomes.
