आइये जाने ARTHRALGIA में दवा Ammonium Causticum कब उपयोगी है

Ammonium Causticum
Joints stiff and enlarged by calcareous matter (Caust, Graph., Guaiac, Sep., Thuj.).

Burning sensations experienced, especially in the throat, gullet, and re**um.
White patches on tongue and inner side of cheeks.
There is intense thirst, and excessively violent ejection of stomach contents.
Voice low, weak.
Speech broken.
Aphonia, with debility; or with burning rawness in the throat.
A good all-round remedy in aphonia.
Great oppression of breathing; the patient gasps for breath.
It has been used in muscular rheumatism of the shoulders and thighs.
Haemorrhages occur from mucous surfaces.
Great excitement in the evening.
Aggravation after eating or drinking.
Timidity.
Sensation as if brain protruded at centre, forward, and on both sides, and the skull was quartered, but without pain and without confusion of the head.
Peculiar redness of skin over nose and frontal sinuses.
Nose stopped.
Watery coryza.
Face extremely pale, expressive of the greatest suffering.
Lower lip swollen three times its size; black coating in centre.
Mucous membrane of lips and nose destroyed.
Glands under angle of jaw, each side, swollen.
Profuse bloody salivation.
Burning and scraping at root of tongue and back of gullet.
Lips, gums, and tongue swollen.
Burning and dryness of œsophagus.
Great difficulty in swallowing.
Uvula retracted, covered with white membrane.
Tonsils swollen.
Uvula elongated and swollen.
Intense thirst.
Vomiting of mucus and blood and great tenderness over epigastric region.
Violent ejection of stomach contents by nose, and mouth.
Burning in track of œsophagus, none in stomach.
Pains, tenderness, distension of abdomen.
Borborygmi.
Copious bloody stools.
Tenesmus.
Urine red, alkaline.
Albuminuria, hyaline casts.
Me**es fifteen days too early and very profuse.
Bronchitis, with profuse expectoration; blood-stained expectoration.
Voice deep, weak, or absent.
Great difficulty in breathing.
Gasping for breath.
Convulsive twitches of r. arm.
Muscular rheumatism of shoulders.
Bleedings from all orifices, which cause faintness.
Affection of the mucous membranes and organs of the chest.
Contraction of the flexor muscles. Contraction of the oesophagus and of the colon.
Great exhaustion and muscular weakness. Weakness which hardly admits of an upright posture.
Great trembling on making the slightest exertion.
Skin hot and dry, afterwards moist, perspiration supervening.
Disturbed sleep.
Shiverings; fever towards evening; pulse, at first feeble and rather accelerated, afterwards quicker from hour to hour.
Great tendency to take fright.
Dose: 6,12,30 potency (1 to 5 drops in 10 ml water on empty stomach or as advised by your doctor).

The most effective point of attack of Agnus upon the organism is the sexual organism. ‘एगनस कास्टस’ दवा का असर विशेषतौर पर पुरुष एवं स्त्री के जनन अंगों पर होता है

It lowers sexual vitality, with corresponding mental depression and loss of nervous energy.

यह कामशक्ति को घटा देती है अर्थात ऐसे रोगियों में उपयोगी है जिनकी काम शक्ति में कमी आ गई है फलस्वरूप रोगी को डिप्रेसन रहने लगा है और नर्व शक्ति कम हो गई है

It shows this distinctive influence in both sexes, but is more pronounced in men.

यद्यपि ‘एगनस कास्टस’ का जननांगों पर विशिष्ट प्रभाव पुरुष एवं स्त्री दोनों पर होता है किन्तु पुरुषों पर ज्यादा प्रभाव होता है

Mind.--Sexual melancholy. उदासी जो कामशक्ति के दुरुपयोग से उतपन्न हुई है

Fear of death.मृत्यु का भय

Sadness with impression of speedy death. उदासी में डूबा - जैसे वह तेजी से मृत्यु की ओर बढ़ रहा है

Absentminded, forgetful, lack of courage. भ्रमित चित्त , भुलक्क़ड़ , साहस की कमी

Illusion of smell - herrings, musk. हेरिंग मछली या कस्तूरी की गंध आ रही है ऐसा निराधार विचार, धारणा या भ्रम

Nervous depression and mental forebodings. रोगी नर्वस, उदासी से घिरा, किसी अनिष्ट की आशंका से लगातार चिंतित

Eyes.--Pupils dilated (Bell). आँखों की पुतली फैली हुई

Itching about eyes; photophobia.आँखों के आसपास खुजली, रोशनी आँखों को तकलीफ़ देती है

Nose.--Odor of herring or musk.हेरिंग मछली या कस्तूरी की गंध आना

Aching in dorsum better pressure.नाक के उभरे भाग में टीस जो दाब से कम होती है

Abdomen.--Spleen swollen, sore. तिल्ली अर्थात इसप्लीन में सूजन और दर्द

Stools soft, recede, difficult.

मल यद्यपि कड़ा नहीं किन्तु फिर भी बाहर की ओर आकर पुनः पीछे सरक जाता है, मल कठिनाई से निकलता है

Deep fissures in a**s. मलद्वार में गहरी दरारें

Nausea with sensation as if intestines were pressed downwards; wants to support bowels.

मतली महसूस होना - मतली के साथ उसे ऐसा लगता है जैसे आंतें नीचे को सरक रही हों - वह आँतों को सहारा देना चाहता है

Male.--Yellow discharge from urethra. मूत्रनली से पीला स्राव

No erections. लिंग में कड़ापन न आना

Impotence. नपुंसकता

Parts cold, relaxed. जनन अंग ठण्डे और शिथिल

Desire gone (Selen; Con; Sabal). सेक्स की इच्छा समाप्त

Scanty emission without ej*******on. बिना इजैकुलेसन अल्प मात्रा में वीर्य निकलना

Loss of prostatic fluid on straining. काँखने पर प्रॉस्टेट ग्रंथि का स्राव निकलना

Gleety discharge. मूत्रनली से म्यूकस व मवाद मिश्रित स्राव

Testicles, cold, swollen, hard, and painful.अंडकोष ठण्डे, सूजे, कड़े, दर्दयुक्त

Female.--Scanty me**es. स्त्रियों को पीरियड में बहुत कम रक्त आना

Abhorrence of sexual in*******se. स्त्रियोंमें सेक्स (मैथुन) के प्रति घृणा

Relaxation of ge****ls, with leucorrhoea. जनन अंग शिथिल हो जाते हैं, प्रदर की शिकायत रहती है

Agalactia; with sadness. स्तनों से दूध न निकलना, रोगी उदास रहता है

Sterility. बन्ध्यत्व अर्थात शिशु को जन्म देने में असमर्थ

Leucorrhoea staining yellow; transparent. प्रदर स्राव से पिले धब्बे पड़ते हैं; प्रदर स्राव पारदर्शक

Hysterical palpitation with nose bleed. हिस्टीरिया की धड़कन और नकसीर

‘एगनस कास्टस’ के बाद ‘कलेडियम’ व ‘सेलिनियम’ से लाभ होता है; ‘कलेडियम’ में सेक्स की इच्छा रहती है किन्तु जननेन्द्रिय में शक्ति नहीं रहती; योहिम्बीनम नपुंसकता में लाभप्रद है; कोनियम एवं फास्फोरस में इन्द्रिय दमन के फलस्वरूप नपुंसकता होती है; ‘ओनॉशमोडियम’ स्त्रियों में मैथुन की इच्छा न रहने पर लाभप्रद;’लाइकोपोडियम’ एवं ‘सल्फर’ में जननेन्द्रिय ठण्डी, शिथिल और छोटी हो जाती है; गोनोरिआ (सुजाक) के कारण नपुंसकता में ‘थूजा’ लाभ करती है

Relationship.--Compare: Selenium; Phosph ac; Camphor; Lycop.

Dose.--First to sixth potency.

Mercurius is suitable for light-haired persons with lax skin and muscle. Primary and secondary syphilis; round, coppery red spots shining through skin. Nightly anxiety and apprehensions. Sleeplessness at night on account of anxiety. Drunkards.
Weakness of memory. Answers questions slowly. Hurried and rapid talking. Fog before the eyes. Ringing and roaring in the ears. Hardness of hearing, with obstruction; sounds vibrate in the ears; obstruction momentarily better after swallowing, or blowing the nose. Profuse salivation. involuntary trembling of the voluntary muscles, hands, tongue, etc. Breath and whole-body smell foul.
Trembling of extremities, especially hands.
Tremor of hands, with great weakness.
Weakness and weariness in limbs; bruised sensation.
Involuntary trembling of hands; could not carry a glass of water to mouth without spilling it; could take neither food nor drink, but had to be fed like a child.
Patient is extremely sensitive to heat and cold.
Trembling when walking, < about knees and in inguinal region.
Soreness between thighs and ge****ls.
Rheumatic and arthritic pains; tearing stinging, < at night in warm bed; with profuse sweat, no relief; oedema of affected parts, especially of feet and ankles; face sunken, earthy in colour; emaciation of whole body; loss of appetite; sleep disturbed by nightly pains; pains < in change of weather; constipation, with pains in small of back.
Coldness of extremities, with cramps.

Kali Carbonicum patient has aversion to solitude.
Trembling sensation through entire body, < through pelvic region.
Hands tremble when writing, mornings. Weakness and want of strength in the arms (in the morning).
Paresis; trembling. A short walk fatigues much. Dropsical affections and paralysis of old persons.
Bag-like swelling over the upper eyelids.
Great general weakness and depression, with coldness and soft pulse; sensitiveness to change in the weather. Awakens at 3 or 4 o'clock a. m.
Everything affects the small of the back or pains start there. Back and legs give out; feel heavy. Lumbago. Arms weak; numb pinching in left. Painful tips of fingers and toes.
Great sensitiveness of the soles of the feet and of the heels.
Worse after midnight; toward morning; after sexual in*******se; from change of weather. Better from sitting stooped over; in the warm open air.
Indicated chiefly by the presence of sharp, sticking pain or a series of sticking pains, in various parts of the body. Especially useful in persons who are sensitive to changes in the weather and cannot bear cold weather.
Great drowsiness in the day-time and early in the evening. Arrest of breath rouses him from sleep at night. At night the left leg and the right arm go to sleep.

GUAIACUM
Arthritic diathesis. Contractions and nodosities. Arthritic pains, heat in affected parts – intolerant of pressure, can bear no heat. Disposition to hawk, stretch, yawn.
Secondary syphilis.
Persistent deafness, with recurring earaches.
Facial neuralgia.
Neuralgic toothache.
Tonsillitis.
Ovaritis in rheumatic patients, with irregular menstruation and dysmenorrhoea.
Chronic inflammation of the ovaries, with agonizing pains, irritable bladder.
Pleuritic pains in apex of lungs, especially in consumption.
In consumption it relieves the extremely offensive expectoration (compare Cap.)
General tendency to emaciation. Growing pains in children.
Unclean odour from whole body.
Discharges offensive.
Stomach affections return every summer. Desire for apples.
Muscles feel too short – eyelids, back, thigh etc, eyelids feel too short, eyeballs feel too big for lids. Exophthalmos.
Guaiacum pains are worse in cold wet weather.
Copious perspiration on head when walking in open air.
Late sleeping early waking.
Obstinacy. Strong desire to criticise, and to despise everything. Indolence and dread of movement. Weakness of memory, and excessive forgetfulness, esp. of names. Fixed look, and absence of ideas, esp. in the morning.
If we find Alzheimer's disease in a patient having some of the symptoms given above GUAIACUM may help.
