Telemedicine is a way to connect the right doctors with target patients. It works particularly when access to quality healthcare is an issue, for example in rural India.

However, telemedicine solves only half of the problem. Rural area people tend to discontinue the treatment midway unless they are followed-up proactively. Also, they need assurance on the treatment affordability, specifically in chronic disease management.

This is where MediMetry really changes the entire game because we have our own trained *Clinic Sanchalaks* in each village where we work. These sanchalaks connect local patients to our doctors, for vitals, diagnostics, medicines' delivery, and for a wellness-driven treatment cycle, including follow-ups.

Rural India Health Scene:
- People do not see many or sometimes even a single qualified speciality doctor
- They do not know the consequences of avoiding visiting a doctor in nearby cities - in time
- They do not follow up enough because they cannot do that for the same reasons - lack of awareness, and sometimes it is about affordability.

Solution? It lies in pocket clinics that setup a common interface between the patients and qualified doctors who operate and provide services from nearby cities.

Personalized HealthTech plays such an important role in providing personalized healthcare services. Specifically for people in rural India where the patients do not have access to technology, imagine if the patients can simply speak to the doctors, seek instructions, share their concerns such as their behavioral response to taking medicines, the allergies, and lifestyle limitations.
