🌿 International Yoga Day 2025 – A Sacred Celebration of Unity and Inner Light 🌿

On the sacred morning of 21st June 2025, history and spirituality converged at the timeless Largo Aretusa in Ortigia, Siracusa—a city with over 2000 years of heritage—where souls gathered to celebrate the profound essence of Yoga.

Under the divine guidance of Swami Ananda Saraswati, revered founder of Vishvamitra International Group, this grand celebration transcended borders and beliefs. The event witnessed the gracious presence of esteemed dignitaries: Mayor Mr. Francesco Italia of Siracusa and the Honorable Deputy Ambassador of India, Sri Amarram Gurjar.

With love and tireless devotion, Stefania Rossitto, President of Vishvamitra International ONLUS, and Avv. Stefano Pipitone, President of Vishvamitra Foundation, along with the dedicated disciples of Swamiji, orchestrated a spiritually elevating and deeply unifying experience for all who attended.

A moment of divine fulfillment graced the celebration with the ceremonial release of the 2nd Edition of the Italian translation of the Bhagavad Gita—a timeless scripture of wisdom and transcendence.

The air was filled with the spirit of peace, discipline, and oneness, and the gathering received it with open hearts. 🕉️✨

Last night, I received several calls from different people sharing the news of Shri Niranjana Rath’s departure. Though I am far away in Italy, I had already sensed something was not right. In fact, just yesterday morning, I felt compelled to call and check on his health—unaware of what was unfolding.
Our bond dates back to 1999, and over the years, I witnessed both the highs and lows of his journey. I had the privilege of standing by his side whenever needed. His passing is a deep personal loss.
Yet, I find comfort in knowing he left this world with dignity—without placing a burden on anyone physically—and as a proud life member of Loka Sevaka Mandala, completing his karmic course as a sevaka.
Though I could not witness his final rites, his memory remains forever etched in my heart.
May his jīvātma remain in a peaceful, luminous sphere of being for a long time, and one day be reborn into the home of a noble, learned, and generous family, so that his spiritual journey may continue without interruption.
