CIRCADIAN RHYTHM(Body’s internal clock).
Why these days sleep disorders, hormonal imbalances, obesity, cancer , depression, etc are on the rise???
Because modern day man is not maintaining circadian rhythm.
Circadian rhythm is a 24 hour cycle in physiological processes of all living beings. Each and every organ and cell of the body has its exact time of functioning optimally.
Hormone production, cell regenration, brain wave activity, genetic rhythms are all linked to it. Maintaining body’s internal clock has its own benefits like:-
1) More energy throughout the day and less fatigue.
2) Good gut health.
3) Hormones are secreted optimally i.e periods on time, no mood swings, no acne, clear skin.
4) Cell regenration is functioning properly i.e Radiant health.
5) lesser gene mutations so less incidence of genetic defects in future generations.
How it is maintained?
1) Maintaining proper sleep- wake cycle by going to bed and waking up at the same time.
2) Getting some morning sunlight.
3) Eating at regular meal times.
4) Doing light exercise in open air.
5) Reducing screen exposure in the later part of the day.
6) Intermittent fasting.
