31 days behind… and a lifetime ahead. 🤍

Born on 15 November 2025, Pavitra Darsh*t Joshi, the baby of Bhavna Joshi, arrived as a preterm infant.

The journey began with critical challenges, including Very Low Birth Weight (VLBW), Respiratory Distress of Newborn, and Neonatal Jaundice. Immediately after birth, Pavitra was admitted to the NICU for specialized care and continuous monitoring.

For 31 days, the baby fought with strength and resilience under expert medical supervision, receiving the care needed to grow, stabilize, and recover.

Gradually, milestones were achieved. With improved health and steady progress, Pavitra was successfully discharged on 16 December 2025, weighing 1.405 kg, stepping out of the NICU stronger than before.

A journey of hope, care, and perseverance…

Because every touch matters, hand hygiene matters even more ✨🖐️

We recently conducted an engaging and insightful Glow Germ Activity at our hospital to reinforce the importance of effective hand hygiene among our staff. In this activity, participants apply a special glow germ lotion that mimics the presence of germs on the hands. They then performed handwashing using the standard 7 Step hand hygiene technique.

Post-wash, hands were examined under UV light — revealing glowing spots where germs were still present due to missed areas. This powerful visual demonstration helped our team clearly understand how easily germs can remain if proper handwashing techniques are not followed thoroughly.

The activity served as a strong reminder that even a small lapse in hygiene can impact patient safety. By turning learning into a practical and interactive experience, we aimed to strengthen infection control practices and promote a culture of safety, awareness, and responsibility across our hospital. 💙
