Attended brachial plexus birth palsy surgical course in Ahmedabad. It was an amazing opportunity and I have learned a lot. I believe this course will help me provide better care to children with Orthopaedic issues like brachial plexus injuries, far superior care.

Knock knees or Genu valgum is deviation from the normal alignment of the lower limb which results in angular deformity of the legs. This warrants early correction because if left untreated this could result in pain and degenerative changes in the knee joint in early adulthood.
This is completely correctable conditions if treated early.

Congenital pseudoarthosis of tibia is a rare disorder affecting children. This condition leads to fracture of the leg bones which doesn't heal normally. Meet Sadia !!
Came to me at day 5 of her life. Parents were concerned with the frank knee deformity with child being unable to bend the knee. We found out her to have congenital dislocation of knee. Started treatment of sequential casting at the same day.
4 weeks in...we have full good range of motion at knee. Bracing will continue, child will be observed. But all in all, everyone involved (me , the family and Sadia) is happy. 😊😊😊

16 year old muskan is a special child with cerebral palsy disorder.
She is bright and intelligent and did went to school till 7th grade.
But her progressive deformities of bilateral ankle and right knee caused the loss of her walking ability. She has been bedridden for last 3 years.
Today we did corrective surgeries for right knee/right ankle and left ankle.

She will be in rest for 1.5 months.
Then we will start her rehabilitation. So that she can slowly learn to stand again and if possible walk again over the course of next year.

Remember the goal is to help her achieve maximum functional status.

It will take lot of hard work from her parents, but it's not going to hurt in trying to help and hope.
