Happy doctor's day to all my doctor friends and colleagues.
Being a doctor in today's day and age comes with lots of challenges but I am thankful for my job which gives me opportunity to help people every day.

Vitiligo : One of the most dreaded but practically harmless disease.
Vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder( meaning, your immune cells instead of doing their normal function attacks your melanin forming cells and causes depigmentation.)
There is a lot of stigma associated with this disease and much awareness is required about it.
Timely diagnosis and treatment can help to get rid of this depigmentation.
There are many treatments available now a days like medicines, topical lotions,light therapy,and vitiligosurgery.
Above is the picture of my 4 year old patient before starting treatment and after 3 months .
Still a long way to go but she is responding beautifully to the treatment.
So if you have any such concern visit your Dermatologist and they'll surely be able to help you.
