The concept of eating every 2 hours is to aid in digestion and control your appetite, but I do not recommend doing that.

You should eat when you are HUNGRY but ensure having small and frequent meals to balance out daily calories, be easy on the stomach, give you energy as and when required.

I would suggest listen to your body cues and eat accordingly and sensibly.

Do not bind yourself to every 2 hours nor should it be eat when you are hungry, the best is to listen to your body cues and understand your body type properly with a nutritionist to decide the best course of action

However silly it may sound but this is true..

If you’re trying to lose weight, the amount of sleep you get may be just as important as your diet and exercise.

Unfortunately, many people aren’t getting enough sleep and they are getting prone to weight gain / obesity.

REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD SLEEP WELL:

💤 Short sleep — usually defined as fewer than 6–7 hours — has been repeatedly linked to a higher body mass index (BMI) and weight gain. ⚖️⚖️

One analysis of 20 studies including 300,000 people found a 41% increased obesity risk among adults who slept fewer than 7 hours per night. In contrast, sleep was not a factor in the development of obesity in adults who slept longer 

💤 Getting enough sleep may help prevent increases in calorie intake🍟🍔🍕🌮 and appetite that can happen when you’re sleep deprived.

Many studies have found that people who are sleep deprived report having an increased appetite and a higher daily calorie intake

💤 Getting a full night’s sleep may help you make healthier food choices 🍎🌽.

Lack of sleep alters the way your brain works and can affect decision making. This may make it harder to make healthy food choices and resist tempting foods

💤 Getting enough sleep may help you avoid decreases in metabolism that can happen when you haven’t gotten enough sleep. 💪💪

💤 Sleep and physical activity 🏋🚴💪 have a close two-way relationship. A lack of sleep decreases physical activity, and lack of physical activity may lead to worsened sleep

Your ideal body is not something you chase after. It’s something that happens by side effect for healthy body.

It’s a side effect of 4 core relationships - FOOD, BODY, EXERCISE AND MIND.

When those 4 pieces are in alignment your ideal body is the product. That’s when you

✔️ feel free around food,
✔️ excited about physical activity,
✔️ feel at peace with your body, and ✔️ are living your full life experience.

So focus on the process and let the outcome take shape on its own.
