With an immense pleasure we invite you to a Comprehensive Cornea Meet on 16th& 17th August 2014 at Medical Care Centre Trust, Vadodara. The CME is focused on main aspects of corneal diseases that is Infective Keratitis, Ocular surfacediseases and Corneal Transplantation (Lamellar Corneal Surgeries). The Guest faculties are most sought after at National and International forums. The highlight of th

e CME will be more of clinical case based discussions and video based presentations. We have planned to devote one session on live Lamellar Corneal Surgeries. Dr Rajesh Fogla is popular amongst peers for his work on Lamellar Corneal Surgeries & has been kind enough to consent for live surgical demonstration which will be on Sunday morning. So, please do not miss this opportunity. There will be ample time for Question Answers and even personal interaction with the faculties as well. Dr.Prashant Garg is a great teacher & master of Corneal infections and it will be great opportunity to listen to & learn from him. Dr. Sayan Basu is a young dynamic Cornea person more focused on stem cell research, Ocular Surface Diseases & Keratoprosthesis

We will be having a special extra session on Saturday morning with him between 9:00 am and 11:30 am on ocular surface disease.

75 registrations..3 Guest Faculties from Hyderabad..and 11 other faculties from Gujarat and Mumbai n Delhi...enriching experience... pure science..n good interactions...2 live surgeries..DSEK n DMEK performed by Dr Rajesh Fogla..a superb surgical demonstration..and an excellent live transmission to the conference hall...The first day began with an interactive session on Ocular Surface with Dr Sayan Basu..great insights in to understanding of stem cell dysfunction n its management options...treatment for some hope less diseases affecting eye ..then the talks n videos by Dr Fogla the maverick....on DALK....followed by Dr Prashant Garg teaching dealing with deadly bugs...what a day..all In all it was an academic feast..visual treat to eyes n mind..the efforts put in to bring this by the whole team became a reality...and an accommodative audience..:)) I think I couldn't ask for any thing more than this...
