Today is World Mental Health Day....

There is less awareness in society about mental illness. People are having stigma related to mental disorders.
Mental illness is like any other physical illness. It can occur to any person irrespective of age, s*x, income, education, etc.
Common mental health disorders are depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, addiction, personality disorders, etc.

WHO has also included mental well-being in definition of healthy person.
Treating mental illness in initial phases gives very good response. Once it becomes chronic, it will take more time to cure.

So accept mental illness as any other illness and consult mental health professional as soon as possible.
