Manthan 2025: A Visionary Initiative for Border Village Development by Seema Jagran Manch
Seema Jagran Manch organized Manthan 2025 — a strategic and transformative initiative aimed at the comprehensive development of India’s border villages, including both coastal and land frontiers. The event brought together diverse institutions and stakeholders to deliberate on key areas such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, employment, and social upliftment through active community participation.
NMO, a key partner in this mission, has long been associated with Seema Jagran Manch in promoting healthcare and national integration in border areas. In Rajasthan, NMO organizes the renowned Tanot Mata Seva Yatra, where MBBS students and doctors from across the country provide medical services in remote border villages, while also engaging with the rich cultural heritage of the region, fostering a spirit of service and national unity.
During the event, Dr. Aruna Vanikar, Vice President of NMO and Former President of the Undergraduate Medical Board, National Medical Commission (UGMEB), highlighted the need for accessible healthcare in remote and underserved regions. She emphasized the importance of medical camps and health awareness initiatives, particularly in interior and strategic regions, to bridge the healthcare gap.
In line with the success of the Rajasthan model, NMO is now spearheading efforts to launch a Border Health Seva Yatra in Gujarat, focusing on health outreach in the state’s frontier districts.
Also present were Dr. Narendra Paliwal, NMO West Zone Organizing Secretary, and Mr. Ankur Goletar from NMO Karnavati, who reaffirmed the organization's unwavering commitment to national service through grassroots health initiatives.
✨ Manthan 2025 marked not just a program, but a movement — uniting service, strategy, and the spirit of Bharat to transform the lives of those who guard our frontiers.
