🩺 Complex Limb Case Treated Successfully Without Open Surgery!

A 78-year-old patient presented with right lower limb claudication and cold limb.
Angiography revealed:
🔍 Complete thrombosis of previous SFA stent
🔍 Chronic total occlusion of distal SFA & proximal popliteal artery

We performed a Balloon Angioplasty using Drug-Coated Balloons (DCB) to restore blood flow —
✅ Minimally Invasive
✅ No Surgical Cuts
✅ Post-plasty showed good contrast flow

💊 DCBs are coated with anti-proliferative drugs like Paclitaxel & Sirolimus, which help prevent restenosis after angioplasty.

✅ Procedure was done without any complications
⚠ Timely management of Peripheral Vascular Disease can prevent Gangrene and Amputation.
