Flatfoot (pes planus) is a common condition where the medial longitudinal arch of the foot collapses, causing the entire sole to touch the ground when standing.

While often painless and congenital (present from birth), it can develop in adults due to tendon damage, obesity, or injury. Symptoms include foot/ankle pain, fatigue, and overpronation.
